Alone?

Balaam declared, "I see them from the top of rocky cliffs, and I watch them from the hills. There is a people living alone; It does not consider itself among the nations... Let me die the death of the upright; Let the end of my life be like theirs.

Numbers 23:9-10

And don't presume to say to yourselves, "We have Abraham as our father. For I tell you God is able to raise up children for Abraham for these stones. Even now the axe is laid at the root of the trees! Therefore every tree that does not produce good fruit will cut down and thrown into the fire."

Matthew 3:7-10

Every pipe dream will start with presumption like Balaam's remark, "Let me die the death of the upright." The first requirement for that though, is to be one of The Most High's upright. Only He can make us acceptably upright. Jesus tells us plainly that the work of the upright is to 'Believe in The One God has sent... You don't have His word living in you because you don't believe The One He sent". God's people may appear alone, but as Elisha said to his servant when they seemed surrounded, "Don't be afraid, for those who are with us, outnumber those who are with them. Then Elisha prayed, "Lord please open his eyes and let him see. So The Lord opened the servant's eyes. He looked and saw the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha." So His elect are NEVER ALONE. So many in Christian churches, muslim mosques and the multitude who forfeit The Savior's call and Grace by refusing to come to Him, forfeit His offered grace. You are to be one of His, don't make balaam's mistake, mohammad's mistake, jehovas witnesses mistake, buddha's mistake, etc... the mistake of the multitude. You have a job to do today... Let His Light, His Love and His truth shine through you to those who may not find their way if you do not. If you are one of His upright then you are NEVER without Him as your friend and escort.

Numbers 31:8, Amos 3:14

The impulse to pursue God, originates with God. A. W. Tozer

"I do not consider that I have accomplished anything without God and if it His will that I must die by the hands of an assassin, I must be resigned. I must do my duty as I see it and leave the rest with God."

President Abraham Lincoln February 3, 1865

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
