They forgot God their Savior... So He said He would have destroyed them -- If Moses His chosen one had not stood before Him in the breach, to turn His wrath away from destroying them.

Psalm 106:21-23

You have not chosen Me but I have chosen you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask The Father in My name, He will give you.

John 15:16

You too are His chosen one, appointed by and for Him. Don't blow your appointment like Esau... How are you putting your calling and commission to work for The Savior? More importantly who are you listening to and following? Many are called yet few are chosen. Jesus warned the disciples and He warns us to beware the teaching (the examples) of the Pharisees... The world is a mess because most of the called have lost touch with being chosen, being HIS Chosen in word and deed, so their work goes undone. Don't be an example that misleads, be His example that ALWAYS leads well. That is who you are my friend, His Chosen. The battle is to make you forget and in so doing, despise the blessing, birthright if you would, that you have as being His chosen. Pray for, intervene with and encourage those assigned to you. Remind them to remember The Only One who never forgets them. Being His Chosen is no small thing. :)

Genesis 25:27-34, John 1:12-13

"We grumble our way through life -- we judge others, fail to live up to our baptismal committments (Galatians 3:27-29), do not heed the warnings given us. Jesus is quite clear in His message, "Bear fruit or be cut down".

Matthew 7:19

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
