Elisha said to the king of Israel, "We have nothing in common, go to the prophets of your father and mother! As The Lord of Hosts lives, I stand before Him. If I did not have respect for King Jehoshaphat of Judah, I would not look at you; I wouldn't take notice of you."

2 Kings 3:14

Jesus replied, "Every plant that My heavenly Father didn't plant will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them alone! They are blind guides and if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit."

Matthew 15:13-14

As a good Christian, there are two words we must learn to use, "Butt out!" If you find that offensive, try Jesus response in Matthew 8:22, "Let the dead bury their own dead". When people try to talk you out of your only hope and your best friend and His plan for you, be very firm, with gentleness and respect. Don't miss out on the opportunity to stand up for The Only One who ALWAYS stands up for you. I was sharing with a young man today who was Jewish, he said, "You will never talk me out of my Torah." I said, "That is fair and a great place to start, at least you have the first part of the right books." Evan is faithful in reading and follow through, now for the understanding heart, eyes that see and ears that hear, that is God's job... the witness, well that is your part and mine. How can we struggle with telling others about the Only satisfying and comforting part of our life? I owe Him and those around me, it is The Clear choice.

Psalm 40:1-10, Acts 8:30-35, Deuteronomy 29:4

"Chaplain, I am a strong believer in prayer." He went on to explain that prayer was no substitute for planning and work, but it was nevertheless an indispensible part of life for a soldier.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
