Light shines in the darkness for the upright. He is gracious, compassionate and righteous. Good will come to a man who lends generously and conducts his business fairly. He will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not fear bad news, His heart is confident trusting in The Lord. His heart is assured, He will not fear. In the end he will look in triumph on His foes.
Psalm 112:4-8
For God who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness", has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory in the face of Jesus Christ. We are pressured in every way but not crushed, we are perplexed but not in despair; We are persecuted but not abandoned; We are struck down but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:6-9
Never allow yourself to be troubled by the enemy's ranting and ravings. We are to always focus on The Eternal, Mighty One's name and promise... it stands for you and with you, if you stand for and with Him. Remember two things about The Savior: He is a wall of fire around you and the glory within you. Subterfuge is a tactic the two bit poser uses a lot to screw up your focus and keep The Savior from being effective and productive in your life. This in turn derails your satisfaction, that is a loathsome state to be in and no place for you. Darkness most definately has a place in our life, just as with the Israelites in Egypt, who watched God surround them in His light while the Egyptians were trapped in a darkness that could be felt. Always remember this about the darkness, it makes the Light and it's comforting warmth a satisfying, gratifying joy for you but an enviable, angry misery for the enemy and its followers who refuse His lighted, loving comfort. My boldness in sharing Christ comes from being able to remember the touch of this darkness and now loving being bathed in The touch of Savior's comforting light...If they will follow, I will lead, as I follow Him. Ronald Reagan said, "Lead, follow or get out of the way."
Psalm 103:1-5, 1 Peter 5:6-11
"When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you."
Fredrich Nietzsche (Not focused on Christ, Nietzsche was consumed by and in this abyss, choosing it and its lord, as his eternal home)
