A Little Rocky?

Listen to Me, you who pursue rightousness, you who seek The Lord: Look to The Rock from which you were cut, and to The Quarry from which you were dug... Pay attention to Me, My People, and listen to Me My Nation.

Isaiah 51:1

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on The Rock. The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. Yet it didn't collapse because its foundation was on The Rock.

Matthew 7:24-25

Be encouraged my friend because you know this Rock spoken of here. Moses speaks of our Rock in Deuteronomy 32, "They abandoned The God who made them and scorned The Rock of their salvation... They ignored The Rock who gave them birth, they forgot The God who brought them forth. How could one man pursue a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight unless their Rock had sold them, unless The Lord had given them up? But their Rock is not like our Rock Even our enemies concede." Are you able to stand in the storm? To whom and what are you pursuing, seeking, paying attention and listening? In life are you being pursued or are you the pursuer? Read and heed my friend!

How firm a foundation you saints of The Lord, is laid for your faith in His excellent word! What more can He say than to you He has said, to you who for refuge to Jesus have fled.

The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose, I will not, I will not desert to its foes;

That soul that all hell shall endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, no never forsake!
