Now if you faithfully obey The Lord your God... The Lord will grant you a blessing on your storehouses and on everything you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land The Lord your God is giving you. The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He swore to you, if you obey the commands of The Lord your God and walk in His ways.
Deuteronomy 28:1, 8-9
Jesus said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep and obey My word. My Father will love Him and WE will come to him and make Our home with him. The one who doesn't love Me will not keep or obey My words."
John 14:6
I love the beauty and symmetry of God and His word. I have 2 New Testament and 2 Old Testament scriptures on most of my 'Focus Fixer' cards because many people are living under the delusion that The God of The Old Testament differs from The God of The New Testament. They neither know or understand Him. From cover to cover in this treasured Book of Truth we find total agreement between The Father and Christ Jesus His Son. The Eternal One's desire is to give you a new heart, this will give you the new life you long for. Jesus makes this crystal clear when He says the mouth speaks when the heart overflows. Everyone knows the pain of misspoken words, we all long to be able to live out Solomon's words, "A word spoken at the right time is like apples of gold in settings of silver", or as Isaiah reminds us, "The Lord has given me His Spirit and enables me to speak a word of comfort to the weary at the proper time. He awakens me each morning, He opens my ears to listen and instructs me." There is One Way. There is One Truth. There is One Life. But there are many choices, ask Him to help you choose, like Mary who, "Sat at The Lord's feet and was listening to what He said," about which Jesus stated, "One thing is necessary. Mary has made the right choice and it will not be taken away
from her." I pray that Mary is on your, "I gotta be like this", list. Remember, He is NEVER yours until you, like Mary, are His.
Daniel 10:21, Luke 10:39-42
"Of all the things Christ wants for us, loving Him and focusing our attention on Him are the most important because God's voice is still and quiet and easily buried under an avalanche of clamor"
