No Second Stringers

They provoked His jealousy with foreign gods; They enraged Him with detestable practices. They sacrificed to demons, not God, to god's they have not known, new gods that had just arrived which your fathers did not fear. You ignored The Rock who gave you birth; You forgot The God who brought you forth. Israel is a nation lacking sense with no understanding at all.

Deuteronomy 32:16- 18

Men of Athens! I see that you are extremely religious in every respect. For as I was passing through and observing the objects of your worship, I even found an altar on which was inscribed: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it -- He is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in shrines made by hands. Neither is He served by human hands as though He needed anything since He Himself gives everyone life, breath and all things.

Acts 17:22-25

Make sure you are hitched to The Rising Star of Christ and are not chained to a falling star. There is no wiggle room here. Christ Jesus The Messiah is your ONLY Savior, Lord, Master and Best Friend or you have chosen poorly and have your hope and eternity set on a second stringer who can never deliver or satisfy.

Numbers 24:17, 2 Peter 1:19
