Make The Call!

The Lord who made the earth, The Lord who forms it to establish it, Yahweh is His name, says this: "Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know."

Jeremiah 33:3

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives to all generously and without criticizing and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting... an indecisive man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:5-8

There are so many things you and I think we want to know but there are far fewer that we really need to know. We are told by our God, who knows ALL things, that a person without discernment is doomed, not knowing how to spend your time wisely is one of life's costliest mistakes. King David put it in layman's terms for us, "Turn my heart toward Your decrees and not toward material gain. Turn my eyes from looking at what is worthless; Give me life in and through Your word." Every second that passes is gone forever, don't make the mistake of not asking, the mistake of not pursuing Him. Make the call today my friend.

Hosea 4:14, Luke 19:41-42

Ah! Gentle gracious Dove, and are You grieved in me?

That sinners should restrain Your love: and say, "It is not free.

It is not free for all: The most You pass by

and mock with a fruitless call whom you have doomed to die."

Sinners abhor the fiend: his other gospel hear --

The God of truth did not intend the thing His words declare.

He offers grace to all, which most cannot embrace,

Mocked with an ineffectual call and insufficient grace.

Arise O God, arise, Your glorious truth maintain,

Hold forth the bloody sacrifice, for every sinner slain!

Defend Thy mercy's cause, Thy grace divinely free,

Lift up the standard of the cross, Draw all men to Thee.
