Who was it you dreaded and feared, so that you lied and didn't remember you represent Me or take it to heart? Have I kept silent for such a long time that you don't remember to fear and revere Me?
Isaiah 57:11
Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, you lock up the kingdom of heaven from people. For you do not go in and you don't allow those entering to go in. Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to make one proselyte, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as fit for hell as you are!
Matthew 23:13-15
There is a line in the movie, "Oh Brother Where Art Thou", George Clooney's character witnesses an outdoor baptism and remarks, "Looks like hard times have flushed the chumps." God sends hard times to flush those who refuse to respond to His call. This country, this generation, which is my country and my generation suffers from the effects of what I lovingly call, 'Piss poor shepherds and sheep'. This all starts from the called, settling for being weeds, goats and bad trees instead of wheat, sheep and good trees. There is a way to ensure you are who and whose you know you should be. Ask The Savior and Shepherd, like King David did, "Search me oh God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and help me walk in Your ways forever." Again, "Since You are my Rock and my fortress, for the sake of Your name lead and guide me." Put the ball in His court if you dare. There is no other way.
Psalm 31:3, 139:23-24, Matthew 12:33,13:37-39, 22:14, 25:31-44
"I'm reminded of the story of the dying girl and the sick woman in Mark's Gospel, Chapter 5. Despite large crowds gathered around Him, Jesus not only stopped what He was doing, but individually ministered to both. That example where each person matters, frames how we at RZIM approach the field of apologetics."
