The Inheritance

Lord, You are my allotted portion and my cup of blessing; You hold my future. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed I have a beautiful inheritance. I will praise The Lord who counsels me -- Even at night my conscience instructs me. I keep The Lord in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Psalm 16:5-8

When He saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain, and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. Then He began to teach them saying... You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its taste, how can it be made salty? For everyone will be salted with fire, have salt among yourselves and be at peace with one another.

Matthew 5:1-2, Mark 9:49-50

I long for peace, I know The peace that passes all understanding has only one source and it exists in and is sustained by the presence, spoken word and blessing of the lord. "When a man's ways are pleasing to The Lord, He causes even His enemies to live at peace with Him." "That is why I didn't even consider myself worthy to come to you, but say the word and my servant will be cured." Again, remember who you are by remembering WHOSE you are and live like it! The burden of proof is His. That is your inheritance my friend.

Proverbs 16:7, Luke 7:7

Jesus came to bring us three kinds of peace:

Peace with God

The Peace of God

Peace with others

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
