Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu each took his own firepan, put fire in it, placed incense in it and presented unauthorized fire before The Lord which He had not commanded them to do. Then fire came from The Lord and burned them to death before The Lord. Moses said to Aaron, "This is what The Lord meant when He said: I will be treated as Holy by those who draw near Me, and I will reveal My glory to all the people."
Leviticus 10:1-3
For Enoch, prior to his removal was approved since he had pleased God. Now without faith it is impossible to please God for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.
Hebrews 11:5-6
God is Holy always. He requires me to live my life accordingly. I see His handiwork everywhere yet I am marked and approved by The Savior's remark to Thomas, "Blessed are they who have not seen and yet have believed." I have seen though, "His eternal power and divine nature have been seen by all, having been understood by what has been made, as a result people are without excuse." I draw near to Him for two reasons, first He drew near and revealed Himself to me, second, I have no one else to go to and nowhere else to go and the best part of that is, that is enough for Me, He is always more than enough. I know and have learned to hear His voice and treasure His touch above all else. As you draw near to Him today, remember WHO it is you draw near to and thank Him for saving you a place!
Genesis 15:6, Romans 1:20
"You did not wait for me to draw near to You, but You clothed Yourself in frail humanity,
You did not wait for me to cry out to You, but You let me hear Your voice calling me.
I'm forever grateful to You!"
