True Trust. No Vapor or Illusion

Trust in Him at all times you people... men are only a vapor; Exalted men, an illusion. Weighed in the scales, they go up; Together they are less than a vapor. Place no trust in oppression or false hope in robbery.

Psalm 62:8-9

Then the disciples came up and told Him, "Do you know the Pharisees took offense when they heard Your statement? " He replied, "Every plant that My heavenly Father didn't plant will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."

Matthew 15:12-14

When The Messiah, our Master and Lord speaks of robbery or oppression, He also speaks of those who are to be teachers of His truth but in reality are those who rob and oppress as they suppress the truth, His truth and in so doing are not only blind guides endangering those they mislead, but they also oppress and rob those they are charged to liberate and provide for. He has sworn to lead, care for and provide for you...you and I have sworn to trust in and follow Him to the exclusion of all others. All others are merely a vapor and an illusion.

Numbers 16:25-38, Matthew 7:13-20

"Give me a hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen. Such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of God upon earth."

John Wesley

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:16-20
