ONE SHEPHERD, ONE FLOCK, ONE PURPOSE

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth and their words to the end of the world.

Psalm 19:1-4

As usual He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read, the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to Him, He found the place where it was written...Then He rolled up the scroll and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him. He began by saying, "Today as you listen, this scripture has been fulfilled".

Luke 4 :1

Same story, different time and new audience. Same Shepherd, divided flock soon to be united with One purpose. You and I are His witness, His messenger, His sign and His symbol. I always remember, at His instruction, that when I greet, hug, help or pray with anyone, as I interact with them, so does He, that is what we as people, His people, need the most. This is why He calls you His treasured, cherished possession, you are His. He wants you and I to pass on this treasure, Your cherished identity in Christ Jesus, He longs for a united family. Like you, when others get this, they too will become His force to be reckoned with. Try to never forget that you and I are always His witness, our opinions should always be Him speaking and shining through us.
